Chinese Ambassador Wei Huaxiang Attends Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2026
On 12 October, Ambassador Wei Huaxiang attended the opening ceremony of the Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2026, organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Held under the theme “Positioning Sri Lanka in a Changing Global Economy: Resilience, Reform, and the Future of Economic Policy,”the Summit focused on Sri Lanka’s economic reform agenda, investment opportunities, and sustainable growth.
China stands ready to strengthen economic, trade and investment cooperation with Sri Lanka, leverage the strengths of both sides, and support Sri Lanka in enhancing its economic competitiveness and achieving sustainable development.
